[dvd] Season One of "Jersey Shore" on DVD

There's nothing quite like Jersey Shore, the unbelievably popular show on MTV that put eight self-absorbed, self-proclaimed Guidos and Guidettes into a beach house, and just let the cameras role. Plenty of Italian-American groups were offended, and who can blame them? Girls like Snooki and J-Woww were off the charts (and not even Italian), and dudes like Pauly D and The Situation were hooking up as much as possible. But if you've seen it, you know you can't turn away, and the Uncensored edition of the DVD means that even though all the naughty bits are still covered up, the swearing isn't.

The extras on the DVD are amazing - and make this a good bet for any fan of the show. Deleted scenes and the reunion special are included, as well as a Jersey Shore makeover with Michael Cera (huh?). But it's the cast commentary that's to die for.
